These thoughts are intended to clarify the foundational elements of "I Am Alpha & Omega"
Update 8/1/25
Refer to the posting titled "Notes" below regarding the rebellion of the fallen Angels and the Nephilium.
I will be utilizing various texts to structure this Libretto. Of course, the Bible (the Word of God) and the Writings (of Swedenborg) but now I have decided to also use "The Book of Enoch". Even though Enoch is not part of the Christian or Jewish Canon, it fills in some gaps in the literal sense. There is some divergence from the Science of Correspondances, in that the Writings say that there are no angels in heaven that were not men first. That could be interpreted to be that heaven is composed of men who became angels post flood, but the question remains; What about Micheal, Gabriel, Rafael and the Cherubim and Seraphim? It is clear in the Writings, that those names in the Word, symbolize societies in Heaven, but it is also clear that societies of angels are viewed by God as one individual, just as Heaven as a whole is viewed as one man.
So what is Heaven? There are many Heavens corresponding to many Loves. When the Writings say that there is no one in Heaven that was not first a man, does that refer to the composite of all the heavens? Is there a realm beyond Heaven where the Cherubim & Seraphim dwell with the Angels who were created before man? The angels referred to in Enoch?
The structure of A&O will strive to postulate on this, but there will necessarily need to be a disclaimer outlining the source material and stating that the piece is postulation based on that material, filtered through the finite, not absolute truth from that can only exist in the infinite.
Update 7/1/25
"Let Us make man in Our Image"
What are the possible interpretations of "Us" and "Our"? One thought is the masculine and feminine aspects of God.
Another is that Creation began at the Celestial Degree (really beyond the defined "Celestial Degree, and manifesting from the Infinite, being that the Celestial is Finite) and by the time it was manifest into the Natural Degree, other Celestial and Spiritual beings had been created. There are two chooces here;, Man's creation took place in the Outermosts (the Natural Degree) and when that occurred, there had already been other beings created by God. The Nephilim, Cherubim & Seraphim angels like Micheal & Gabriel would be examples.
The other choice is; Although there is indication that the Spiritual Degree was created out of the Natural Degree, therefore indicating that the Celestial Degree was manifest in form (Finite) and that Adam and Eve were created to dwell in the Celestial, hence "falling" from Grace and landing into the Natural Degree, thus making the creation of the Spiritual Degree a means to return from the Natural to the Celestial Degree, where they were created to dwell, by way of regeneration.
And so, after generations of free Will bringing about the perversion of Good & Truth and separation from the Creator, as a result of His conclusion that he should not have created man (or allowed him such freedom) God destroyed what He created with a flood, only preserving Noah. He then also destroyed those creatures that were in the upper degrees, who from freedom of Will caused the heavens to also be perverted. Destroyed might not be the case. Correspondentially, the flood of waters in the natural represented a flood of falsities that likewise pervaded the heavens and thus "a flood" of truth (and goodness) from God in those degrees forced a separation and thus forced those beings into the hells. For what is falsity but truth perverted?
So that when free Will was given in the heavens and on earth, the possibility arose for truth to be perverted and inverted into falsity. Hence, there came a need for a separation one from the other.
The same applies for love and hate. For to love falsity is to hate truth and to love truth is to hate falsity. And those who love must dwell in the like environment, because the environment is a reflection of the conjunction of love and truth. In the heavens good is of love and truth is of wisdom. In the hells the good of a love is inverted into the evil of hate and truth, which is of Wisdom is inverted into the falsity of foolishness. There are infinite degrees of those two conjoining forced within creation; Love and Wisdom, good and truth and their opposites.
Looking back at the Flood as a correspondance to the Spiritual (because the Outermosts are a reflection of the inmost, by the time a flood manifested in Time & Space (the natural, finite degree) the correspodential events had already taken place in the upper degrees (realms).
We have been told that all beings in the heavens and the hells were once men. That suggests that any beings created in the spiritual/celestial/infinite eternal, prior to men in the natural/temporal/finite of time & space, must have likewise perished in the flood, with the exception that they were forced into a realm created for and by their perversions, Hell. The concept that man was created to live to eternity disallows his destruction (as in obliteration) rather he dies as to Love and Wisdom, Truth and Good, the binding forces in creation. He dies to the, by choosing to dwelling their opposites and thus must dwell in an environment formed to accommodate those loves.
It is possible that Act One will End at the Flood. That makes sense.

ACT ONE addresses Creation up to the establishment of society.
Looking at the genealogy in Genesis and Chronicles, we can imagine the expression goes from Adam to Abraham.
Chronicles: 1-4, 17, 18, 23, 27 outlines the heritage of Issac, who begot Jacob, who became Israel.
This lineage needs to be conveyed as a composite of the Correspondences, which are not yet researched and identified.
I do think that this lineage could be conveyed lyrically, but the Correspondences need to be there in order to find a poetic string that not only ties it together, but uplifts it into the Spiritual/Celestial. Remaining in the literal sense, the natural degree will not enliven the text.
Expect me to update this with a summary of the Correspondences and possibly some prosaic style of the text.
Addendum
An epiphany occurred in this regard. Initially I thought he generations are to be conveyed cinematically as "bubbles in the space of the backdrops", but possibly live performances might likewise be structured as a montage, giving opportunity for blocking to occur and this giving the staging more dimension. In regard to song, the generations hand off verses or portions thereof, as a verse or lines in the verse. Looking at the generations from Adam to Israel, the number might be twelve.
In the context of the Mind of God, the lyrics would blend the two perspectives; God and man.
So in that way, it might be a conversation, but that conversation needs to be based on Correspondences, which have yet to have been fully identified and put to paper.
It is important that these generations be compressed into the context of one song. The wrestling of Jacob with the Angel of God (or God Himself) should be the conclusion of the piece, whereby Jacob becomes Israel.
The main thing here is to avoid a "doctrinal" feel and convey the emotional progression into society, Israel being representative of the formation of society.
