Rewrites

UPDATE:

Having read about three quarters of the The Book of Jubilees, I believe I will begin structuring a revamped version of Act One, I still need to redress The Book of Enoch. I will be reading both of these books over again, as well as The Acrana Coelesetia (Swedenborg) to determine the which sequence of events will be selected to present. It is advancing.

ARCHIVE:

So, I am still pursuing research with ancient writings, but I have gained much more understanding about the components that need to be part of the picture. I am concerned about how to reduce the material down to an impressionistic summary that conveys both magnitude and clarity, without overwhelming the viewer with the time-frame allotted for Act One.

There is a lot of material that needs to be included in some fashion. I do think an abstract representation will be necessary, but that cannot occur without some way to convey justification. Justification suffers when the expression reverts to a summary format. That's the real trick here, especially when (theatrically) we are up against a fixed time-frame

I have decided to use this forum to write the update to the existing Script/Libertto. The reason for this has to do with my mortality. I am arriving to move this into production, but I can no longer afford the time to hold this close to my chest. I anticipate that I will die before this is fully manifested, so that being the case, there is no point in clinging to it. My intention is for this to be a gift to the Lord and the world, so as much as I would like to derive income from this, I cannot count on that. So I am going to reveal this fully as it proceeds and if another producer comes onboard, then we can a certain how to manage the production. Assuming the show goes up, my share as the writer/creator is a budget item and I will receive my appropriate share financially. But in order to promote the project as a whole, I will post my Libretto here as it is written. This will allow for review by Industry professional as it proceeds. Given that my vision is critical to this project, I need to trust that; other organizations/producers who want to be involved, will expect to have my contribution to manifesting this into reality. I do have substantial theatrical experience (www.imagemindag.blogspot.com).

I have not yet begun to recraft the Libretto, but it should be understood that the core work is already copyrighted and any rewrites posted here are encompassed by that copyright, because it is an update of the original work. That being said, anything posted here is done so in order to encourage collaboration in multiple arenas and levels of the production.

More to follow. AG
