I Am Alpha and Omega, Libretto

UPDATE:    Having read about three quarters of the The Book of Jubilees, I believe I will begin structuring a revamped version of Act One, I still need to redress The Book of Enoch. I will be reading both of these books over again, as well as The Acrana Coelesetia (Swedenborg) to determine the which sequence of events will be selected to present. It is advancing. ARCHIVE: So, I am still pursuing research with ancient writings, but I have gained much more understanding about the components that need to be part of the picture. I am concerned about how to reduce the material down to an impressionistic summary that conveys both magnitude and clarity, without overwhelming the viewer with the time-frame allotted for Act One.     There is a lot of material that needs to be included in some fashion. ​  I have been discovering what is claimed to be “new” information that has been released from The Dead Sea Scrolls. Of course, that is only new to the modern man, because it was kept hidden for various reasons, but it certainly is new to me and in the context of writing the Libretto for “I Am Alpha & Omega” this information poses a real challenge.    My long term goal has been to use scripture to craft a theatrical presentation centered on God and His Creation, a theatrical presentation that gives voice to God and brings forth His message to mankind. Clearly, such an endeavor must be derived from the Word of God.   But now, apparently, new information has appeared that makes claims which answered some questions, but leaves others unanswered, or indeed brings up new questions in regard to its authenticity. It is a challenge, because those writing were volitionally excluded from the canon of the church. Was that by Divine Providence or by the interference of men? ...

  It's funny how inspiration comes and goes. A short time ago there was a burst of inspiration where a certain amount of prophetic inspiration flowed forth. But then it stopped. Why? I cannot entirely say, but in large part the fault rests on me. I have a propensity to allow frustration to turn into anger over little things that shouldn't matter. I see that as an assault from the hells, a direct assault on my spirit and my flaw is that I allow those spirits to possess me in moments of frustration. That turns into the most inappropriate anger that is always targeted on God. It is appalling and it is most certainly from hell.    You see, we allow the spirits from hell into our consciousness. They love to impersonate us, because they are of death and the only life they feel is what they take from us when we permit them to get close to our loves. NOTES on the Libretto; A) the body and the soul     1) in regard to The Grand Man           a) " I Am Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & The Last, Who is & Who was, & Who is to come ".           b) this is the foundation of the first scene, a representation of The Grand Man as understood and presented by New Church doctrine           c) the Grand Man exists in the Infinite Eternity, above the Celestial, yet encompasses the  Finite of the three-fold essence represented by the Celestial, the Spiritual and the Natural, in its ultimate Dualistic Sense, encompassing Heaven & hell, both outside of and within  Space and Time , while those aspects of Creation correspond to and reflect the Grand Man yet being and remaining Finite.        d) The Infinite is conjoined  to  Eternity  as one       ...

Update 8/29/25  It is said in  The Writings that the Ancient Word still exists and is located somewhere in Tartary. Fragments of The Book of Giants were found in Tartary. The book of Giants was also found in The Dead Sea Scrolls and is tied to the Books of. Enoch and The Jubilees . Events Leading up to the Flood    Research into the documents discovered in The Dead Sea Scrolls leads to the possibility that The Creation began well before the creation of man in the natural degree. The implication is that "the Sons of God" refers to the angels that were created, presumably in or above the Celestial Degree. Further, the inference is that when those angels placed "Love of Self" above Love of God, they fell (from Grace). The sequence of events surrounding that fall from Grace, leads one to believe that upon such fall, hell was created. One might conclude that when hell was created it necessitated the creation of heaven as a balancing factor. If th...

   In order to gain an understanding of what appear to be gaps in the timeline of the Word, I have been studying other Writings that seem to address events that took place in those gaps. There are a number of ancient writings that appear to address those events, book that were discovered in the Dead Sea Scrolls.    There is also another collection, The Book of Jubilees that needs to be researched and considered in this next rewrite.    So until I get through researching and considering this material, not much in the way of rewriting can occur. I am, however, considering a different perspective on the whole piece. I have vasalated between first person and third person perspectives. I'm now thinking that remaining consistent with first person is critical. As society grows, the relationship also becomes more complex and as the core material is presented there is most definitely second and third person perspectives that must come into play. However,...
