The Book of Enoch

   In order to gain an understanding of what appear to be gaps in the timeline of the Word, I have been studying other Writings that seem to address events that took place in those gaps. There are a number of ancient writings that appear to address those events, book that were discovered in the Dead Sea Scrolls.
   There is also another collection, The Book of Jubilees that needs to be researched and considered in this next rewrite.

   So until I get through researching and considering this material, not much in the way of rewriting can occur. I am, however, considering a different perspective on the whole piece. I have vasalated between first person and third person perspectives. I'm now thinking that remaining consistent with first person is critical. As society grows, the relationship also becomes more complex and as the core material is presented there is most definitely second and third person perspectives that must come into play. However, the piece must remain primarily first person. That is tricky, because that means the first person is God. It's very delicate to presume God's perspective and that must be gained by influx. Thus "wait upon God".

   I can and will outline the first person in outline form, but the prose required to make that lyrical must be derived from both historical texts and from aesthetic interpretation, artistic license and influx (the muse).

   So that's where we stand with that.

   Other business is distracting from the mission of diving into rewrites, so for the time being it is research and artistic conception that is taking place.

   However, as I said before, I can post some of the original Libretto, which really was a script (leaning toward a Treatment). In this next rewrite, I will be structuring it more along the lines of a Libretto and I expect to include some technical notes (because I tend to do that as I think through what is possible). But I will isolate those technical notes from the stage presentation of the core materials (and the lyrical moments), so I can transfer those notes into a Technical Manual. 

With "The Gnomes of New Hope" (and with earlier versions of "I Am Alpha and Omega" and "Nunc Licet") I integrated the technical notes more than I should have. Moreso, I did not separate those Technical Notes as much as I could have, in order to easily create a Technical Manual.

   A&O will consist of more effects in order to present a sequence of events as a backdrop. There are numerous events which need to be conveyed in a timeline, but as I see it now, those events should be conveyed as an abstract representation to a backdrop of the first person conveyance. There is a delicate interaction that needs to take place, because the piece needs to move forward without dwelling on events that inheritantly have a significant depth to them. Realistically, that depth cannot be explored because of time restraints and a plethora of material that must be addressed. Hence, the outline, which is in development. 

   Since the Third Act became "Nunc Licet" it seems as though there might be more room in the front end, but since Act Three will convey The Apocalypse, that may not be the case. I expect to structure the three acts to initially contain all the necessary events and then with cull those events or conceptualize a method to compress those events. But of course, all this must remain compelling and have sufficient momentum to move it forward at (if we are fortunate) an enthralling pace.

   There is also the need to avoid mental lethargy being that the material is connected to religious ideas and it needs to be presented in such a way as to avoid "preaching".
