ACT TWO

Update 7/7/25

ACT ONE expresses creation and concludes as it enters into an abstract expression of the generations of man from Adam to Noah, when mankind moved away from God and was destroyed as a result.

ACT TWO expresses the rebuilding of society as it relates to God and transitions forward, continuing the same format as the ending scenes of Act One, presenting the generations of the Chosen People from Noah to Abraham to Israel to Joseph to Moses and possibly others  (depending on the corrrespondential representations necessary to express the fullness of man's socialization and relationship to God).

Other societies and religious beliefs are not addressed here, although there may be an occasion to address that aspect of mankind's spiritual growth

These expressions lead to Saul, David and Solomon who are depicted for their correspondence between the Natural, the Spiritual and the Celestial.

These generations lead to with the Savoir, expressing redemption and regeneration. and conclude with the Ascention in the presence of His disciples.

ACT THREE addresses correspondances given in the Book of Revelations. It will be operatic in nature, but I am not certain yet how to introduce that progression. Although I have had that structure already built in previous notes, those notes were lost and redressing the subject will occur after Acts One &Two are restructured.

I believe that the internal sense supports this progression. The details of this will be in the rewrite.

You will be able to examine the previous revisions when I post those scripts. Right now I am in the process of recovering earlier work from old operating systems and bringing the material into my current machines.

"Redemption itself was the subjugation of the Hells, a restoration of order in the heavens, and by means of these a preparation of a New Church."
(True Christian Religion 118.1)

ACT TWO is well defined in this statement. It conveys the rise & fall of human society in the natural degree, the spiritual consequences of such and the requirement of and actions taken for redemption.

It is yet to be seen how all this can be compressed into the time frame allowed for Act Two.

I will post the 1999 Version of the script here. The rewrite will be crafted as a Libretto, which will include lyrics.

As it stands now, the 1999 version is not crafted around the fullness of the concept of the rise & fall followed by Redemption. It is more structured around correspondances. But that needs to be integrated into the larger thematic structure here defined. The events conveyed will need to change somewhat.

I had the idea of the piece being presented for more than one sitting, but that means retaining the audience throughout the three sections, which frankly, will not happen. I believe that was attempted with "Nicholas Nickleby" with less than acceptable results.

Look for the 1999 script.
